Dear sisters and potentials and guests,

As you may have heard our dear sister M845 (Celerian Tigerpaw) has passed away recently. We do mourn her passing and will forever remember her dearly. We commemorated her in a memorial service. But I would like to share with you a lament I have written for the occasion.

Lament for a dead sister

She was a sister strong and brave
I knelt there at her damp and earthen grave.
Under hawthorn bush and elder tree
I knelt and wept for thee

Oh she a heart of gold
and the greatest craig she always told.
Until that faitfull starlit night
when she had lost her toughest fight

And we all then stood there quiet still
shocked to the marrow, lost the will
to chatter on about our sister dear.
All were lost in death' all gripping fear

Yet on we got to go.
For live is live and does thus flow.
Yet never shall we do forget
a sister fair - a sister pet

I did do kneel beside her grave of stone.
Frightened then myself - chilled to my bone.
Never shall we all forget
the merry soul we do have met

So let us carry in our' chest
her mem'ry - all the best.
For life goes on and on and then does end.
We all take to that road and it's last bend

So do live true and just and bold and right
fight for life with all your might.
And when the time has come and life does draw to an end - look back and smile
and say
"That life was good"
