So i decided to write some short descriptions of the background of the sisterhood, as i mentioned in an earlier blogpost, the actual background has been evolved to grow very big by now. Those little background pieces i release here are pretty much a tiny fraction of what we have written down by now.
Earth in the 26th century
In the last decade of the 21st century a all out war broke out for the last resources and political influences around the globe, this war finally led to a nuclear holocaust, what was left of Earth didn't even slightly resemble the blue world we can remember from certain pictures.
Earth is dying, that's pretty much the conclusion the sisterhood has from all their analyses.
Humanity was pretty much thrown back into stone age to barely iron age societies, depending on the areas, some fell back so deeply that they are now cannibalistic hunter gatherer tribes who barely resemble humans at all.
But what really worries the sisterhood is the steadily increasing decline of the biosphere of earth, caused by the remnants of the nuclear war, predictions say that earth might be uninhabitable within the next 200 years.
The sisterhood started here on earth sometime in the 25th century with the help of knowledge of advanced technology from the mysterious founder of the sisterhood we all know only as M1. The sisterhood quickly established a infrastructure for themselves, allowing them to make the advanced knowledge into usable tools, which soon resulted into spaceships capable to travel vast distances.
But even with this advanced technology at their hands, all the sisterhood can do on earth right now is barely a drop of water on a hot stone.
The sisterhood has established several chapter houses around the globe by now, trying to assist those in need and help where they can, but with their limited resources, they can only hope for a miracle.
